I started playing rlcraft for a while now and i had a hard time finding dragon den on the overworld,but i also installed twilight forest and i have noticed that dragon dens (fire and ice) are like super common i fund like 2 ice dragon dens close to each other on 2 ice forest,so if you really want to find dragon dens easy i recommend to install twilight forest Dragon Eye is your friend since it locks on ores and, as it has been said, emerald (or sapphire (I think) for ice dragon) is an abundant ore in the lair 3 - Fly around. I did try killing a dragon with diamond armour but with dragon armour, you are strong enough to be hit multiple times by its flames. Though, be carefull if there are animals nearby as dragons also shoot at animals. Harvest by right clicking the corpse with empty hand. You can prevent it from roaming by using the dragon command staff on it. The keybind is under "Miscellaneous" and it's called "Change 3rd person camera for mount". His aggro range is like 10 blocks from my front door. Before you fight one, you should level your defense and attack skill to 16 (Diamond level) and also level up your magic to use a Brewing Stand.
